Amy Chess
Amy Chess is a User Experience Researcher at Dealer.com. Her research relies on qualitative data collection techniques to understand how car dealers interact with their Digital Marketing and Finance & Insurance software products. Amy holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience, and has studied the mechanisms of learning, memory, and attention in a variety of experimental preparations. Immersion in data is a favorite pastime, but increasingly, Amy enjoys empowering teams to ask their own questions and explore their own curiosities about their users.

Hetal Dave is a Sr. Software Engineer and Technical Lead for C2, an IT consulting company based in Colchester, VT. She has been working in Software Development for over 15+ years, helping clients such as Keurig, NRG Systems, Crane & Co., Hershey and Vermont Teddy Bear. Hetal develops eCommerce, CMS and custom applications using .NET, C#, jQuery, AngularJS and other technologies. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a Sitecore Certified Developer. Hetal holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from RIMS in London, UK.

Floyd Hilton
Floyd Hilton has 17 years of software development experience in many domains including semiconductor manufacturing, financial aid delivery, energy conservation and healthcare. Floyd is the Master of Chaos, and has been described as being the "voice of reason" and having a "calming effect" on the hectic world of software. He has enjoyed wearing many hats such as full stack web developer, project manager, application architect and director of development. His current interests include cross platform .NET, IoT, helping software teams move toward continuous delivery and improving architecture using domain driven design. Floyd also enjoys helping others discover the awesome career of being a software developer. He co-founded the Augusta Polyglot Group which meets once a month to teach and learn new languages. He has been teaching kids to program using a mixture of Linux, Scratch and Python and has given conference talks on getting SQL into Version Control.
If he's not writing code, Floyd can be found mountain biking in the Maine woods with his family.
Floyd's current tools of choice are VS Code, C#, ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, Python, Git, SQL Server and Microsoft Azure.

Chuck Megivern
Chuck Megivern is Principal Engineer at iSystems, LLC. He has over 10 years of software application development experience. Chuck has worked at several Vermont technology companies, with a focus on cloud scale advertising deployments, and human resource software-as-a-service applications.
Experience includes Java and ASP.NET application development in large server and cloud operating environments. A variety of open source frameworks have been used in these applications. Experience includes containerized deployments, API management in no-single-point-of-fail / high traffic scenarios, and dynamic server scaling in the cloud. Chuck has authored a webinar on API development for the WSO2 company. Chuck is Microsoft certified for C# development.

Jim is a Senior Architect with BlueMetal Architects, Microsoft's IoT Global Partner of the Year, where he's most recently been working on IoT solutions from backend services to front-end visualizations. Formerly a Microsoft Evangelist in the Northeast, he's been working with Microsoft Azure since it was announced and with Microsoft and open source technologies for just a tad longer than that.

Jean-René Roy has been developing IT solution for large and small enterprises since 1987. In 1991 he founded the consulting firm Technologies SoftDesign Inc. Since that time he has worked on projects for House of Commons, Innovapost, Bell Canada, CGI, CNSC, Kraft, and many other clients assuming the responsibility of Business Analyst, Software Architect, ETL and BI Architect, Software Developer, Analyst, Team Leader and Mentor. He has been and is still very active in the developers' community by acting as a user group leader for more than ten years with the Montreal .NET community and the Ottawa IT community. Scott holds a doctorate degree in programming languages and has been working with design automation and embedded systems for more than two decades. He has been consulting with a health care startup for the past several years as their Chief Data Scientist, as well as pursuing other interests including the Internet of Things and natural language processing.

Peter Vile
Peter Vile received his master degree from Colorado State University in computer science with a focus on software engineering specializing in distributed systems and aspect oriented middleware. Since then he has been developing web based solutions and services in the Java ecosystem in several domains such as defense, telecom and now automotive. Currently he works for Dealer.com focused on internal and external integration projects. While not chasing his two boys around he tries to stay up on messaging and reactive systems and is currently dabbling in Scala, Play and Akka.

Bill Wagner is a senior content developer with Microsoft. His mission is to teach developers about .NET and C#. Bill Wagner is one of the world's foremost C# developers and a member of the ECMA C# Standards Committee as well as the .NET Foundation advisory council. He is President of the Humanitarian Toolbox, a charity that creates Open Source software that supports disaster relief efforts.

Betsy works at Microsoft as a Field Community Program Manager with their industry leading global community programs, Microsoft’s Most Valued Professional (MVP) and Regional Directors (RD). She is a passionate community program manager who works with both offline and online technical communities.
Prior to working at Microsoft, Betsy was the Chief Evangelist at TechSmith for Snagit, Camtasia, Jing, Camtasia Relay, and Coach's Eye. Betsy loves geeks, tech, photography, knitting, beer, travel, robots, sporks, Michigan State University, popcorn and screencasting.

Lucie deLaBruere
Lucie explores how to use emerging technology for teaching and learning. She has over 20 years experience in consulting on technology and education. She is a Google Certified Teacher Google Apps Certified Trainer and Raspberry Pi Certified Educator. Lucie teaches graduate courses at the University of Vermont, Marlboro College, and St. Michael's College and is the winner of the 2009 Frank Watson VITA-Learn EdTech Award. Lucie received her Masters of Science in Internet Engineering from the Graduate School in 2000, and her Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education and Social Studies from the State University of New New York at Oswego where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
